A Counselor Who Relates & Understands

Our Counseling Practice
Our experience enables us to offer compassionate, effective, behavioral health support for individuals, couples, and families. We treat a number of mental health challenges and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples to heal and thrive.

Our Treatment Focus
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.

Our Patient Promise
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Good therapy is finding your person and talking about things. Rather that's with another professional therapist or with me. Find your person and start
unpacking what you've been battling alone.

What We Offer

At First Responder Families, we offer:

  • Individual Counseling - Rooted in Person-Centered therapy. I value meeting clients where they are.
  • Family Therapy - Trained in Family Systems. No family is perfect, we all are learning from our past, our partner, and our children, and ourselves how to grow.
  • Trauma-Informed Care - A framework of thinking and interventions that are directed by a thorough understanding of the profound neurological, biological, psychological, and social effects trauma has on an individual—recognizing a person’s constant interdependent needs for safety, connections, and ways to manage emotions/impulses.
  • Couple and Marriage Counseling - Offering Person-Centered and Restoration therapy-based practices to help couples get on track wherever they are.
  • Supporting Addiction Counseling and helping clients looking to enter treatment or to support them after they come out of intensive treatment.
  • Resiliency Training - Offers uniquely crafted resiliency training and recovery to organizations and groups.
  • Debriefing / Defusing - CISM trained and experienced to conduct debriefings/defusing.
  • Grief Counseling - "Grief is not a problem to be cured. It is simply a statement that you have loved someone."
  • Life Coach - Be bold and courageous. The best part of you might still be hidden somewhere up your sleeve. My role is to help clients connect and perhaps rediscover their voice and their joy.
